Our journey started with a simple family tradition in Banff National Park
In the summer of 2024, during a family trip to the stunning Banff National Park, we gathered in the living room to share our annual highs and lows. That day, Seun revealed he had given up streaming services and movies for one year, choosing instead to read more and be intentional with time spent with his wife and daughters. This was the third year in a row that he had picked something to let go of; first sweets, then alcohol, then movies and streaming. He could decide to pick them back up once the year was over, but inevitably, the habits were drastically reduced or completely eliminated.
Inspired by this, Funmi (his sister) decided to join the tradition. The following year, she gave up processed sugar to focus on healthy eating and living. Seun let go of sugar too, in pursuit of a new goal: to compete in a bodybuilding contest.
One by one, our parents, siblings and spouses began choosing their own commitments; letting go of what didn't serve them in order to GoBe more. We held each other accountable. We grew together. And from that simple idea, the GoBe Project was born.
Now, we're building a global community of people pursuing freedom, focus, and fulfillment; not by adding more, but by letting go.
You too can do more, be more, and live freer when you GoBe.
